Hi Everyone! My name is Brett Keating. For the past ten years, my wife and I have been breeding, raising & riding horses as part of our everyday life. One of our biggest challenges of owning and raising horses was finding a farrier that will be available and show up every six weeks as scheduled... not to mention, the importance of trimming & shoeing our horses properly. I finally got tired of searching for a good farrier and waiting for them to make it to our ranch because they were 'over booked'. I decided to go to what is known as one of the best farrier schools in the world, “Oklahoma State Horseshoeing School”. The teachers there are considered some of the best in the farrier business: Regan Kester, David Goodman and Frank Dice.

I graduated from OSHS on August 15th, 2008 and purchased a fully stocked farrier trailer. I am ready to travel and help other people with the same challenge we had in finding a farrier who will care about our horses' hooves and place our ranch on his schedule for regular trims/shoeing every six weeks. I am qualified to shoe any performance horse from barrel racing, roping, racing, cutting, reining, etc. And I have the knowledge for corrective trimming to tend to lame horses, and those with cracked hooves, puncture wounds and foot disease.
